This kit is great with saltwater pools or regular chlorine pools. 

This is the most common chemical level overlooked on salt pools and number reason for the premature failure of salt cells. Cyanuric Acid protects chlorine molecules from UV rays from the sun and stabilize them so they can be used to sanitize your pool water efficiently. If your pool doesn't have a cyanuric acid level then your salt system will work too hard (the setting will be close to 100% all the time) and the excess amperage will burn out your salt cell or the salt systems electronics.
